Task #17 Delicious

This is the first time I have had a look at Delicious and now at least I know what it is about. However once again I have spent more time than I should have exploring it without developing a working knowledge. The commoncrafts "How to" explanation was terrific again but something went amiss when I signed up and I don't seem to have the button on my browser. So where to from here? I don't really know how to use it. I did see some interesting sites but I don't understand how to tag sites or organise them.

  1. I love delicious because of the step by step instructions they give you for every component although it can be frustrating toggling back and forth every time you want to try something new. If you haven't added the buttons to your browser when you sign up you can add it by scrolling right down to the toolbar at the bottom of the page (where the contact us/site map sits) and clicking on tools. You can select the browser that best suits you (firefox, explore, etc) and follow the prompts.
The easiest way to tag a site is to open a second tab, go to a favourite website that you use a lot and copy the url/web address. Paste that url into the search bar provided when you click the save a new bookmark link on the right hand side of your personal delicious account and click next. You can then use the options to personalise it and click save.
    Keep it up!
    Felicity
